The Telluride received a great rating of 8.4/10 from Edmunds. They loved how quiet it is inside, how much technology it has, and how roomy the third row is for adults. They also mention its great features and how fun it is to drive.
“It provides lots of comfort and spaciousness and has even earned an Edmunds Top Rated award every year since,” said the review’s writer, Mark Takahashi.
Takahashi says that newer rivals tend to outperform most vehicles. However, the Telluride has performed better than its competitors ever since its 2020 debut. He also describes the Telluride as a “baby Land Rover” and a “bargain luxury,” praising its spacious design, stylish look, and excellent driving experience.

The 2024 Kia Telluride got a thumbs up from MotorTrend, with a rating of 8.7 out of 10. Even though there are only minor changes from the previous model, the team was happy to see that Kia has kept its winning formula.

Drew Dorian, a writer for Car and Driver, gave the Kia Telluride a perfect score of 10 out of 10 in his review. He and his team loved its stylish design, smooth V6 engine, and luxurious cabin. Dorian also mentioned that it’s great for families, with its three rows of seats, but also perfect for adventure seekers who want a capable vehicle.
“Along with ample interior storage throughout the cabin, we managed to fit four carry-on suitcases behind its third row and stuffed a total of 35 carry-ons with both back rows folded flat,” says Dorian. “Not only does the Telluride tow up to 5500 pounds, but it also has plenty of room for cargo and is available in a rugged X-Pro guise that can handle moderately challenging off-roading.”
