2020 Sedona Crain Kia of Fayetteville Arkansas

The Sedona brings some serious style to the minivan class. Featuring a powerful engine, sporty good looks, and solid safety features, it goes above and beyond what you might think a minivan can do. The 2020 Kia Sedona carries over a lot from previous years, which is a testament to the Sedona’s solid design and staying power.

Powerful Performance

The Sedona comes equipped with a fireball of an engine: a 3.6 L V6 that gets you 276 horsepower and 248 foot-pounds of torque. This is a front-wheel-drive vehicle, and the engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Sedona will go from 0-60 miles per hour in 7.8 seconds, which is seriously impressive for a minivan. It gets 18 miles per gallon in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The Sedona can also be used for towing and can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Spacious Interior

If you’re buying a minivan, cargo space is probably something you’re thinking about, and the Sedona delivers. You get 33.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, if you fold it down you get 78.4 cubic feet, and if you fold down the second and third rows you get a massive 142 cubic feet of space. Third-row passengers get 34.8 feet of legroom, the second row gets 41.1 feet, and the front row gets 40.9.

The base model gets you basic features like cloth upholstery and reclining rear seats. The LX features power doors, 2-way lumbar support in the driver’s seat, and a six-speaker audio system. The EX is where it starts to get really comfortable, with leather seating, heated front seats, and three zones of climate control. The SX is the top of the line, with acoustic windows, a sunroof, 8-way power seats, and more.

Tech Features

Standard on the base model is a 7.0-inch touchscreen, but this can be upgraded to an 8.0-inch screen with navigation, real-time traffic, and weather updates. USB ports are included, as is Bluetooth connectivity. Higher-end trim levels feature an eight-speaker Harmon and Kardon premium sound system with a subwoofer and a rear entertainment system that’s really top-notch.

This adds a 10-inch screen for the 2nd row and another to the 3rd row, perfect for watching movies or playing video games. A 3rd row USB port is also included so there’s no need to pass your phone to the front for charging.

Safety

The Sedona got a perfect five-star crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and was a top safety pick for 2020 by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. It features a range of driver-assist features.

These include front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision detection with automatic braking, and more.
