The 2021 Seltos manages to look rugged and refined by merging sharp angles and sleek curves. It has a black mesh grille with the Kia emblem above it, optional chrome accents, a spoiler, 7.3 inches of ground clearance for easier off-road adventures, and sculpted sides. Its narrow headlights give it an aggressive appearance, and the large skid plate below the grille has a silver finish. Other standard features include rear privacy glass, 17-inch wheels, dual exhaust, and a rear windshield wiper and washer.

Choose the LX, S, or EX trim levels for an intelligent variable transmission and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that offers 146 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The S Turbo and the SX Turbo have a seven-speed automatic transmission and a 1.6-liter turbocharged motor that generates 175 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.
Both engines can save fuel by shutting down in traffic to prevent idling. You can choose Normal, Eco, or Sport driving modes. With front-wheel drive and the 2.0-liter motor, you’ll get 29 mpg in urban areas and 34 mpg on the open road. The 1.6-liter engine comes with all-wheel drive, and it gets 25 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
Comfortable Interior
The 2021 Kia Seltos has a spacious, comfortable interior. The rear seats fold down to provide 62.8 cubic feet of cargo space, and the second row includes USB charging ports and air vents. You’ll also get an 8-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, voice recognition, an additional storage area underneath the floor, and keyless entry. The steering wheel comes with convenient audio, phone, and cruise controls.
You can also select heated front seats, a 10.25-inch touch screen, wireless charging, and a Bose eight-speaker sound system with speed-sensitive volume control. Other options include navigation, push-button start, SiriusXM satellite radio, a 7-inch driver information cluster display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, remote start, and mood lighting that changes with the sound system’s volume level. A 10-way power driver’s seat is available as well.
